Aquarium Cam

Right now, our aquarium is being prepped for the arrival of 100 rainbow trout eggs courtesy of  Guadalupe River Trout Unlimited and the Lower Mountain Fork Foundation. We truly appreciate what these two groups have done to make this project possible. White Oak Intermediate is one of only four schools in the entire state chosen to participate in this hands on/minds on project.

What you see below is a webcam pointing into an aquarium being chilled to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. The scene will change once the eggs arrive and are put into place for hatching. Be on the lookout for the fry (trout fingerlings) to appear approximately 10-14 days after appearing in the tank. To learn more about the project, refer to the posts on this blog.
